Every year Avenue magazine takes a count of the top 30 communities from random voters and makes the information public. #5 Lakeview - There is no surprise that we find Lakeview in the top 5 with its access to the core, parks, and vicinity to the river – Lakview has and will always be very desirable to live for these reasons and many more.
#4 Signal Hill - Close to shopping and Calgary’s core – Signal Hill offers easy access to Banff and the mountain trails within an easy commute.
#3 Haysboro – Now considered a more inner city neighbourhood Haysboro offers a short commute to the core and easy access to wherever you are heading within the city. close to transit, shopping this is a mature SW community.
#2 Wildwood- A community close the the core just minutes west from downtown. The area boasts a number of renovated homes ranging from light cosmetic to full blown additions and renovations. A mature community the benefits from being right next to Edworthy park for an active lifestyle and breathtaking views.
#1 Varsity – Tops the list with its maturity, proximity to the core, transit, shopping and of coure – most importantly the proximity to The University of Calgary
